From January 1 to 31, 2025, Jamaica’s roads have become safer, with fewer crashes and deaths compared to the same period in 2024.
For January 2025, there were 28 collisions and 30 fatalities on Jamaica’s roads, reflecting an improvement over the 33 collisions and 35 fatalities reported during the same timeframe in 2024.
These figures represent a 15.15% reduction in collisions and a 14.29% decrease in road fatalities.
