Promoting Road Safety: Positive Trends in Jamaica’s Road Fatalities in 2023

From January 1 to August 31, 2023, our nation has witnessed a commendable decline in road crashes, with 251 Fatal Collisions and 270 lives lost on Jamaica’s roads.

Comparing this to the same period in 2022, when we recorded 277 Fatal Collisions and 316 Fatalities, the statistics reveal a notable 9% decrease in Fatal Collisions and a significant 15% reduction in Deaths.
