Advancing Road Safety: A Continued Decline in Road Fatalities in Jamaica

From January 1 to September 14, 2023, Jamaica has experienced positive trends in road safety, with 267 Collisions and 287 unfortunate Deaths on our roads.

Comparing these figures to the same period in 2022, when there were 294 Collisions and 339 Fatalities, we continue to witness a consistent decline in road incidents. Specifically, there’s been a 9% decrease in Collisions and an impressive 15% reduction in Deaths.
