Advancing Toward Safer Roads: A Review of Progress in 2024 So Far

From January to November 15, 2024, Jamaica has made progress in reducing road collisions and fatalities compared to the same period in 2023.

For 2024 far, 277 collisions and 320 fatalities have been recorded, reflecting a significant improvement over the 333 collisions and 367 fatalities reported during the same timeframe in 2023.

These figures represent a 16.82% reduction in collisions and a 12.81% decrease in road fatalities.

As we approach the end of 2024, we remain optimistic that this positive trend will continue.
